Mommy so sorry that I let you down

But trust me you never listen

Mommy so sorry that I can’t hear you

Because you’re speaking so loud

I know you teach me how to love

But why conditionally?

How am I supposed to teach my children to love then?

Mommy so sorry that I can’t make you proud

But that doesn’t mean I am failing

Love me, hate me, love me again

I am confused here

Who is supposed to teach who over here?

You taught me a lot when I was little

Now should I teach you when you were older?

Nobody’s perfect, I know

But we can always learn to be better
